A Great Nation Risks State Failure
Press ReleaseAugust 7, 2025
Fellow Kenyans,
The Auditor General’s audit report on eCitizen clearly shows a regime that will not just steal; it does so with arrogance and impunity. The endless greed of those entrusted to lead is exhausting to a burdened nation.
A nation burdened by leaders who confuse power for entitlement, who treat public office as a personal inheritance, and public money as an extension of their disposable income.
The pain across our nation is real. This is not simply about imbalanced accounting books. This is about empty stomachs; it is about stolen dreams; children who can no longer afford school fees; about parents who must choose between healthcare, education, or food for their families; about young people who this regime locks out of economic opportunities.
This is precisely how a nation is broken and a state fails. Slowly, systematically breaking your spirits until you start to forget what functional governance looks or feels like.
But, we will not stand for this abuse to continue.
We demand that the government makes public all the accounts in local and foreign banks that were used to siphon public money, and the holders of these accounts be publicly named and prosecuted as per existing laws.
In the meantime, we call for the immediate resignation of all public officials involved in or around the reported irregularities.
The government must know that unlike in the past where more corruption desensitized the citizenry, Kenyans will not relent in their pursuit of accountability and good governance. Fellow Kenyans, a time has come for us to reset, restore and rebuild Kenya.
