In an unyielding declaration to the nation, David Maraga pledged that the Constitution will be his absolute command, promising to aggressively dismantle rogue governance, eliminate institutional fraud, and restore the foundational dignity of the Kenyan people. Asserting that the current economic environment has been turned into a hostage situation by punitive regulations and systemic corruption, Maraga vowed to rapidly revive the economy by lowering energy costs, slashing redundant business licenses, eliminating protection rackets, and strictly prioritizing local agriculture over destructive imports.
